Baby Shower Games for Twins

Celebrity Twins Baby Match

Make a list of celebrities who have had twins along with a list of their twin baby names. Get your guests to match each celebrity with their babies. The winner is whoever gets the most correct. Get some ideas on celebrities and their twins here.

Things ‘n Pairs

With this game your guests have one minute to name as many pairs as possible, like gloves, socks and earrings. The person that lists the most correct items wins the game and gets a prize.

Another idea for things ‘n pairs is listing things that go together like socks and shoes, mac and cheese, cheese and crackers, Bert and Ernie, salt and pepper, pea n pod, just a few ideas for you.

Pair Those Socks

Buy a dozen or so pairs of baby socks, separate them, mix them up and put them in a pile. Each guest takes their turn in pairing up as many socks as possible in just 30 seconds. The person who pairs the most will win the game.

Don’t say Twins

Having a baby shower for twins means it will be very tempting to say the word Twins, so why not make a game of it. As guest arrives, give them a clothespin or a safety pin to attach onto their clothing, or you could have them on a chain to go around their neck. If someone hears another say Twins they can take their clothespin/safety pin. At the end of the baby shower the person with the most clothespins wins the game and gets a prize.

Twins Baby Bingo

Playing twins baby bingo is just like ordinary bingo, but instead of numbers you use images and/or words like pregnancy, twins, newborn, you get the idea. You can make these twin bingo cards yourself too. The winner is the first to get a complete row and they must call out TWINS!

Pair ‘em up Scavenger Hunt

Each guest gets a bag with five items inside these five items are to be one half of a pair. Each person has ten minutes to find each item until they have five paired things. The person who pairs theirs up the fastest is the winner. Here are some ideas of what you could use:

  • Baby Socks
  • Earrings
  • Baby shoes
  • Toy animals
  • Mittens
  • Shoe laces

Each bag can have completely different things, if you are using baby socks as an item in every bag then simply have different colors and patterns.

Naming Game

Guests have 5 minutes to name two baby animals for as many letters of the alphabet as they can. Some ideas: kitten, puppy, chick, foal, kid, joey, tadpole, whelp, gosling. The person who names the most correct answers wins.

You could use this game with two of anything maybe you would prefer something like, two baby names, two baby items, two snack foods for example.

Pass the Babies

This game is much the same as hot potato. Your guests will sit or stand in a circle and pass two baby dolls around to music. Every time the music stops the two holding the babies are out and leave the circle. The two people who are left win the game.

Twin Diaper Team

Guests pair up into teams and each team gets two cloth diapers, four safety pins and two baby dolls. Then all teams on the word go have to put the cloth diapers on with the safety pins on the dolls. The only thing is, and this is the fun part, each team member can only use one hand each. The team that finishes first wins.

Then everyone has to match the baby to the guest, the person who gets the most correct wins the game. It doesn’t matter if not everyone can supply you with a baby photo as long as you have enough to keep guests guessing about seven is a good number.
